I know Donald is not a defensive wizard but he must be able to play SS better than Lillibridge.

In fact just think how good old Tribemans John McDonald BA of .230-.240 would look on this team to say nothing of his fielding skills. That is how badly we have gone down.

Why, oh why is Lillibridge even in baseball let alone with the Indians?

This guy is terrible.

I think we may just have the mis-match of the century with Kluber vs Verlander. Let's see what happens.

I guess this is just another omen of what the season has been like so far. Verlander and Sale were supposed to pitch last night. The game gets rained and we get Verlander. I thought we might catch a break and start a little winning streak.

One bright spot, Verlander will not be "perfect" tonight.

And Chisenhall ends any hopes of Verlander pitching a no-no.

Akron battles back from a 4-1 deficit early to take a 5-4 lead in the third. Akron leads the series 2-0. A win brings home an Eastern League Championship trophy. Carrasco gave up 4 runs in the first. In his second inning of work, he goes scoreless.

Kluber surrenders a two out double but gets Peralta to retire the side. Middle of 5, 4-0 Tigers. Kluber's pitch count now totals 92. Maybe one more inning left for Corey.

Line score, Tigers 4-7-1, Indians 0-1-1.
