On that last Laporta at bat one could actually see some determination on his face. Then he hit it out. Up to now he has looked confused, taking half swings. Someone either talked to him or he talked to himself. Good for him!

Some nifty work by McCallister scattering 8 hits in 6 innings with 6 k's and 0 w's. Only 1 of the 2 runs were earned so we should be leading 2-1.
