5-28 since our front office incredibly decided trading for Lillibridge was the best and only way to help the team as we were 3 1/2 out.

That's what following the Indians is like these days. But hey, at least I get to watch this weekend! JOY!

I was amazed near the end of the game, when the Rangers broadcast crew mentioned that a win tonight "would even the season series with the Indians." I had totally forgotten we had a good weekend against Texas much earlier this season, back when we were still a member of the American League.

I'm sorry, just what the heck exactly is going on in the bottom of the first? I cannot believe this.

It has deteriorated to 4-3 so Joe Smith comes in to relieve.

Reality is setting in. Tribe hasn't scored since the first, and Gomez surrendered 2 homers to make 4-3 now. Joe Smith (if that's his real name) is on with 2 outs in the top of the 6th.

Huh, I saw we had the lead in the first but when the score flashed on my phone I just assumed that it was Texas taking the lead.

Elvis Andrus with four ground balls to third in four at-bats. Only the fourth was a hit.

Still 4-3, heading to the bottom of the 8th.
