We must like hot weather for the bats.

14 hits thus far for us through 6 2/3.

Acta went a little too long with Lowe (he's not been a quick learner about Lowe...).

Now 7-7 in the 7th, with us threatening with two outs.

Cunningham on as a defense replacement for Damon in left. Damon was the only starter without a hit, which makes it a little easier to pull him when we do not have the lead.

I'm not sure why Acta has gone to Chris Perez in the 8th with us behind a run, 8-7.

Right now Joe Smith is on the hook for the loss, surrendering two hits and issuing a walk in his 7th.

And now Chris Perez gives up a solo homer to make it 9-7 in the Baltimore 8th.

Xavier Avery had the homer for the first of his career.

Last year in the minors at Bowie he had four homers in 550+ at bats. Perez must have served up a fat one.

Duncan, Hannahan and Marson for our 9th inning hope.

Duncan gets a slow roller infield hit to lead off, and my man Hannahan is the tying run at the plate.

Hannahan grounds out to the right side, and Duncan to 2nd.

Marson stands in as Baltimore announcers note Carlos Santana is not available due to a rib injury.... ?

Marson K's and up to Choo.

Single, and 9-8 ball game.

Go ahead run now at the plate in Cabrera.

Xavier Avery gloves the final out.

We fall to 12-4 in one run games.

I think we can forget about new blood coming to the Indians. Antonetti said tonight that any help would come from within. Surprise, surprise.

It's tough to get a quorum these days.

Lopez up...Ball bounces off 3rd base over third baseman's head, and we get a run!

Bags juiced for Duncan, one out, and he Ks! :(

Kotchman flies out, and we leave 'em loaded! Our team sucks!
