Fly out and that's the game.
Another game with near perfect relieving picking up rotten starting pitching. Good offensive comeback but missed out on some solid opportunities to even the score in the late innings.

The games you expect to win just slip away. We did steal a couple though. Lowe just let one get away. Guthrie got pounded his last start. The Rockies went down the tube by a count of 10-0. Better luck next outing fellas.

wrong folder, but just to reply, Guthrie ERA 6.35, 12 homers in 61 innings. Ugh. Make that 51 innings, ugh ugh.

Crosby got the win for the Tigers today. Needless to say, our new co-worker is excited. Crosby and Brad are very good friends. Crosby picks up his first major league win. We have to get some help against left handed pitchers if we expect to win this division.

Indians could get Fausto Carmona/Roberto Hernandez back by All-Star break

Marlins reliever Juan Carlos Oviedo is currently serving an eight-week suspension for falsifying his identity, but apparently the pitcher formerly known as Leo Nunez got a much stiffer penalty than the pitcher formerly known as Fausto Carmona is likely to receive.
Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Carmona, who’s now known as Roberto Hernandez, could be back with the Indians by the All-Star break and likely will not have to serve a lengthy suspension once he returns.
Hernandez was found to be 31 years old instead of his listed 28 and, like Oviedo, was arrested during the offseason. According to Hoynes the fact that Hernandez agreed to re-work his contract with the Indians and gave up approximately $4.5 million in the process may keep him from a suspension if that’s deemed punishment enough.
Getting a work visa and building back his arm strength are different issues, of course, so there’s no need to pencil Hernandez/Carmona into the Indians’ rotation quite yet.

Chapman comes in at the top of the 10th and gives up his first earned run of the year. Two sub-.200 batters get the job done. Barmes lead off the inning with double and McKenry followed up with a basehit. Chapman staring at his first loss of the year against 4 wins although the Reds are rallying in the bottom of the 10th with 2 on and 1 out.

Next time.
Loufla and his lovely wife were in suitable Tribe Fan attire, and my wife was in her business dress of the day, and I was just in my regular "Charlie Sheen" attire.
I have my South Carolina Gamecock baseball "away" jersey on at present, and Loufla has a few experiences not making him all that fond of "The University of South Carolina," though he seems to still love and respect The State of South Carolina, in many ways.
I'm sure
Loufla and I will get together soon, and often. It's super cool that we are about 10 minutes from him and his wife.

CALI: You seem to still be on left coast time. I figured you would be posting earlier now that you are in FL.

Nice catch. I'm still feeling my way with this new three hour time difference, expecting most of you to be asleep as I post.
My normal bedtime is still between 1AM and 2AM EDT.
