with two on and two out for the "heart of the order" i.e. Santana Lopez and Brantley.

Santana walks to fill the bases for Lopez.

7-5 Tigers ahead with the home team coming to bat.


Scott Barnes had a 1-2-3 6th. Once he makes to 10 major league innings, he will have justified the Ryan Garko trade.

But they leave 'em loaded, even though that last fly ball almost went over the CF's head.

Barnes back out for his longest big league outing to date; retires the first man on a grounder. Cabrera and Fielder are up next
