The Reds a 5-4 winner. Aroldis Chapman is still unscored upon this season. What a fantastic year he is having. He's 4-0 with 5 saves. He's appeared in 23 ballgames covering 28 innings, has only surrendered 7 hits, walked 9 and struckout 50. His average against is (0.76) and his WHIP is (0.57). I guess it doesn't get much better than that. He's got to be approaching some kind of record.

Loufla and I will take a little credit for this win tonight as we willed our positive vibes as Loufla could catch and share the updates on the TV screen behind me as we both dined with our lovely wives outside on a sports bar patio in the Florida warmth.

It was a good night for The Tribe, moving to near the top and creating space between Detroit.

It was also a good night for me.

It was wonderful to meet Loufla and his lovely wife. I knew Loufla was born in Italy but no one had ever mentioned that he came to America and caught a Georgia Peach....

It was a good night and once again I was delighted with the opportunity to meet in person someone whose writing I have read and who I have shared time with on the Internet. TribefaninSc/Cali and his wife dined with my wife and I. Let me say right away that she is prettier than he is. 8-)

Once again I discovered that people on this Forum are truly nice individuals, I have always been of the opinion that rooting for the underdogs(the Tribe) builds character. This simply cannot be denied. Most Yankee fans I have met are dastardly.

I am pleased that they have moved into this area and hope we can have many other good times together and root the Tribe to victory.

As for the rest of you....Come On Down!

Just keep LaPorta in there until Hafner and Sizemore come back. Anyone besides me bracing for the announcement that Hafner, Sizemore and Carmona are the Indians deadline "deals" this year???

Man if Dolan would just spend a little $$$. Whillingham for instance would look great in the middle of the order and LF instead of LF for the Twins. How could we have had him? Dump Sizemore, Wheeler and Damon would have contributed $7.5M!!!!!

Next year's salary you ask? Ok dump Hafner, Lowe, R Perez and Sipp that's another $20M+

Just poor management decisions really hold this team back. Oh teh kid in Oakland would have looked nice too if you don't like Whillingham or however the *&%&^ you spell it....

Remember folks, nothing matters but the loss column, back in first place...

Wake up sea you're missing a great season flaws and all....
