Twins scored another to make it 6-3, bottom of the 8th.

Losing both these series to the Royals and the Twins would be tough to take.

Tribe fails to score in the 8th

We lose 6-3. While the pitching has been sub par what we are really missing with Santana and Hafner out are walks. We are close to the top in walks but since they are out pretty much no walks. I think we had none today.

2-7 since we swept the Tigers.

Carlos Santana activated from DL - batting clean-up tonight and will DH.

Jiminez is doing OK tonight. No walks through 3. 44 pitches. Score is even 1-1 on a Cabrera (that's our Cabrera) triple. Our first 4 went down swining. Now in the 4th.

Marson comes through yet again, with his own triple to give Tribe the lead.

Lou is 8 for his last 18. This is his 3rd big league triple.

And Choo singles him in. This Smyly for the Tigers was great for the first 2 innings. Pretty hittable since.

Only 50 pitches for the Big U(nit) through 4 innings. He took care of the 4th inning on 5 pitches.

Tigers have won two series since April 18. They are 15th in the league in runs scored. That's rather amazing.
