The hope with McKenzie is when he fills out physically he will add 30 pounds or so and a few extra MPH on an already pretty good fastball. He's still only 19. Young for Carolina League.

I was going to say something about Haase before I went away, but HB got there first. His OPS is a ridiculous 965. His biggest offensive weakness is hitting singles, he has only 23 of them in 230 plate appearances. On the other hand, his 12 doubles, 5 triples and 17 homeruns are pretty solid.

Looks beautiful. Maybe not the Matterhorn but there are lots of great places to visit. We are too old for camping; small hotels in car-free mountain towns. I'll be happy to post photos. Absolutely, Lou. The epicenter was in a town called Lincoln not far from me. The quake was felt in Idaho, Washington state, Calgary, all around.

I was working the night shift. Was alone in a quiet building. Around 12:30am the building starts shaking violently. And I have to say, it is a very unsettling feeling.

There was a small quake in Montana right after I moved here, 12 years ago. But it was just a little tremor, barely felt it. And never experienced anything like that in Ohio. So earthquake isn't the first thing that popped in my mind.

First of all, and feel free to laugh at me ... but I am sitting there alone in middle of night listening to a paranormal radio show in the background. So the first thing that popped in my head was, oh crap, are demons or aliens coming in after me? LMAO!

Then I thought maybe the chemical plant here in town exploded. Went to window and looked in that direction for flames or something, but nada.

Then I wondered if the volcano at Yellowstone was going off or something.

About that time, a few minutes after the first, the place started shaking again. Not quite as bad as first but still pretty good.

That's when it finally hit me, it was an earthquake and that was an aftershock.

Yeah, I am a regular Columbo. My powers of deduction have no equal.

I'm very slow on the uptake. But I eventually get around to right answer.
