Although he was my "breakout" pitching pick, and his ERA is 2.12, Mitch Brown still has work to do with his control. Total: 17 innings, 11 walks, 9 hits, 19 K. But it's been improving: April 7 innings, 8 walks; May 10 IP, 3 BB.

And of course as soon as I mention it Pannone gives up a bunt base hit.
One of these years I'll learn to keep my mouth shut.
Walks next batter. Went from cruising to finding himself in a jam. All my fault again, I'm sure.

Pannone's day is done after 6.1 shutout innings.
I was working on computer but found myself following his game on gamecast more than working. I think I see why he has struggled a tad bit of late. His command wasn't nearly as good as the first time I followed him this year. That day I think I made mention how he was putting the ball right at the corners at the knees. You could not walk up and place the ball in better spots. But today he was missing his spots, off the plate and getting more of the plate.
He still did not get hit hard at all but he did walk a few today and hit a batter. Just a bit off with his command right now.

Definition of a winner. How do you play when you don't have your A game?
I painfully remember an injured Pedro Martinez, without a fastball, completely shutting us down in the ALCS years ago.
