Lynchburg lost to the Nationals in first game of DH'er despite a pretty good outing by McKenzie. He was just wild today. 6 IP, 1 H, 2 ER, 5 BB, 6 K. ... Loopstok 1-4 with a triple. ... Cervenka 2-5. ... Castro 1-4. ... Carter 2-4 with a double.

Hillcats won game two 3-2. Not much to highlight other than Willi Castro who went 2-3 with a double and made a great diving grab and throw to end the game.

Lake County's game was rained out.

Willi Castro has been great in May, now that's he turned 20. He's got the overall average up to 290 and in his last 9 games he's 17 for 36 with 4 doubles, a homer, 2 walks. That makes an OPS of 1.167.
Last year he walked 19 times for the season. This spring he's up to 11.

I just edited my post from last night because I didn't realize Lynchburg played a double header. Castro had a great second game.
