One more roster spot to clear today or two if Roberto Perez goes on concussion DL. Dylan Baker should go onto the 60-day DL. James Ramsey might surprisingly stay on the 40-man roster.

Perez passed his concussion test. Hunter on the 15-day DL. Chamberlain added to the roster. James Ramsay follows Zach Walters onto the DFA list. I suppose some team might be willing to pick him and option him out to AAA; I'm pretty sure he has options left. If not, then all he'll get is a AAA deal somewhere.
The Masterson and Asdrubal trades thus result in nothing gained, but also nothing really was lost.

Tomlin weathered out today. Now they skip his spot in the rotation.

Hmmm, maybe that's why they started Tomlin out in the rotation with Bauer in the pen?

Because the #5 spot is going to get jerked around? And Tomlin is flexible?

Tito did hint this isn't permanent. Wouldn't surprise me to see Bauer back in the rotation come May.

Ramsey and Walters have been so unimpressive over the last couple season any team that would want to add both most be mighty thin in major league ready talent.
