Yandy hasn't been playing recently, I assume hurt. So who knows if he'll even be in.

I thought I might listen to Columbus while watching Tribe game tonight, but Plutko has given up 4 hits and 2 runs in 2 innings so I've changed my mind...
The Gwinett Braves, whom we're playing, made the playoffs despite being way below .500. Like 13 games below. We should move on but Plutko may not have gotten that memo.

Plutko must have settled in. I see it is 2-2 now.

Austin Adams allows 3runs in 8th and 9th innings and the Clippers lose game 1 5-4.
Yandy made a triumphant return, going 4-5 with a homer.
Gomes was 0-2 with 2 K's a walk and a run.
Zimmer 1-3 with a walk and a CS.
Plutko pitched 7 innings and barely allowed anything after that rough start. 5 hits, 2 runs, 4 K

Akron wins 12-8 over Altoona. Merryweather was beat up badly but offense overcame.
Greg Allen was 1-5 with a triple and a walk.
Mike Papi was 3-5 with yet another homer and 3 RBI. What is that, 4 games in a row with a homer now? Had a stolen base too.

Lynchburg, the greatest hitting team in the minors much of the summer, has gone stone cold the last couple weeks. Dims their playoff chances.
Here are lines from BA:
CLE AA Rodriguez, Nellie 1B 3 1 2 2 .667 2B (1)
CLE AA Allen, Greg CF 5 2 1 1 .200 3B (1), BB (1)
CLE AA Papi, Mike LF 5 1 3 3 .600 HR (1), SB (1) [Mr. September][too bad he's awful in April,May,June,July,August]
CLE AA Mathias, Mark 2B 5 0 1 1 .200
CLE AAA Diaz, Yandy 3B 5 2 4 1 .800 HR (1)
CLE AAA Zimmer, Bradley CF 3 0 1 0 .333 BB (1), CS (1)
CLE HiA Krieger, Tyler 2B 2 0 1 0 .500 BB (1)
CLE AAA Plutko, Adam 7 5 2 2 1 4 2.57 [final line is quite impressive; the terrible start and great recovery fits in well with the major league rotation]

Bradley Zimmer hits a grand slam to help power the Clips to a 6-4 win in game 2. His only hit in 3 at bats.
Yan Gomes also homers going 1-3.
Yandy was 2-4 with a walk. (I'm sorry but he still being in AAA is a crime)
Merritt gave up 8 hits and a walk in 3.2 innings, but only 2 runs. #MagicMan

Clippers lose game 3 by a hair. 11-1.
Morimando gave up 9 hits, 3 walks, and 10 runs in 4.2 IP. Wonder why they took him out so soon...
Yandy was 1-3. Zimmer 0-4.
Yan stayed in Ohio and played for Akron who returned home for tonight's game.
