Good job Nick Hagadone! He was a Victor product along with Masterson. When we made the deal, Hagadone was still considered likely to be a No. 2 or 3 starter but if he can be a solid lefty in the pen, which would allow trade of Raffy Perez, he and Justin could equal a pretty good return on that deal.
Lee for Marson, Donald, Carrasco isn't bad but would be ideal if Jason Knapp had not turnd out to be damaged goods.
CC for LaPorta, Brantley and Bryson is clearly the worst of those 3 exchanges.

Kluber on in relief surrenders a base hit. A's score 2. We trail 6-0. Guess it makes no difference if we get beat by 1 or a dozen.

We failed to score in the 8th. No a very good showing by the team after an electric win this morning.

Detroit answered with 2 runs of their own in their half of the 5th. 6-5 end of 5. KC still ahead by the slimmest of margins.

The resilience of the Detroit offense continues to raise its ugly face.
