I've probably shared this 14 or maybe 73 times before....
This Nearly Was Mine from South Pacific.
It was an inspiration for me to pounce and close the deal on my lovely wife. I'll tell her again tomorrow.
She pretends to never tire of my story.

I'd like think these are my wife's words about me.
But she hates hippie stuff, she tells me when I play this.
SHE never had a hot girl with her who needed rolling papers or a pipe I reassure myself from past experience......

CLEVELAND -- Excitement filled the air outside of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on June 16. Anxious fans and eager reporters lined up awaiting the arrival of the cast of “Hot in Cleveland”.
The “Hot in Cleveland” stars were visiting the city to celebrate the season premiere of their hit show and receive the key to the city from Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson. Valerie Bertinelli, one of the show's stars, is scheduled to throw out the first pitch at Friday night’s Indians game against Pittsburgh.
The shows second season premiered on June 15 on TV Land, but there was a pre-premiere screening at last nights event.
The car pulled up around 6:30 p.m. and the beloved Betty White stepped out, as the crowd chanted her name. Behind her were her beautiful and leggy “Hot in Cleveland” co-stars Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves. All the women in the cast were very excited to meet their fans and talk to the press about the upcoming season of Hot in Cleveland.
“We’re having a wonderful time!” White said “We can’t wait to get back to work together.”
The 89-year-old actress, spent the afternoon at the Cleveland Metro Parks Zoo. An animal lover, White was very pleased with how the animals were being treated. “I got to hold this little koala bear. He hung tight to me and I just didn’t want to give him back!”
Leeves and Malick were also very excited to be in Cleveland. Both women talked positively about their experience on the show and expressed interest in filming an actual episode the city itself.
Bertinelli, who looked dashing in a floral strapless dress, did not have an opportunity to speak with The Sun. However, she did inform the crowd that her in-laws, who are native to Cleveland, were inside the Rock and Roll hall of Fame and very excited for the event.
The women got an exclusive tour of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Leeve and Malick were excited to see the women’s exhibit in particular. White was excited to see “Everything she could!” in the museum.
New episodes of “Hot in Cleveland” can be found Wednesday nights at 10:30 p.m. on TV Land.

The first episode of the season was pretty good last week. The Betty White character is running from the law and ended up in Amish country in Ohio.
I haven't checked but I think this year the episodes are available at the show's website. Last year we had them on On Demand, but so far not this year.
Edit:
Yep, here it is:

Pretty sure Jim in Nebraska will be available and willing and ready to show Clarence the ropes in the show upstairs.

I had an ethical situation to deal with yesterday and today. It involved selling my Auburn kid's mountain bike I've had clasped and wrapped to our side of the requisite "fence in our subdivision" the past two years.
He has not ridden the bike since he got his driver's license and a car in May of his Sophomore high school year, a few years back.
This week I posted it on Craigslist, with an easily missed mention of an 18 1/2 inch frame.
Someone bit with a .edu address, and I quickly and easily learned she was a recent athlete at a major college program.
She was strongly interested, but I couldn't find words to tell her I think the frame is too tall for her since she is only listed as 5'4".
That would have likely creeped her out to know she's so easily googleable that I know her height and weight. Or to know she has a long blonde ponytail.
She's coming to see the bike tomorrow.
She's an athlete....I've seen her pics now....and I think she can handle it. It's a great deal.
I'm trying to get my kid to be here when she comes.
He told me he already has a 5'3" blond haired filly in Florida. He does, and she's a good catch.
He didn't bite on my mention that it's always good to have a back up filly in the barn.
Nor did my wife.
I'm still going to let this girl know ways she can make herself less public.....as she should.
She's an athletic animal.

The girl athlete came today to sample the mountain bike. It's OK my male kid blew her off. She had her love interest with her. She was cute, too. I touted them on some of my fave bike rides and trails, with emphasis on The Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito and the ferry back to Embarcadero.
The bike was sold. I always close deals when I think it's right for all parties.
I have work and meetings to do tomorrow, otherwise I would so seriously do The Iron Horse Trail. THAT'S a great 50+ mile round trip ride.

50 mile bike ride? Damn. I would barely make that on an ATV.
