These close losses are not fun.

That was not a bad pitch by Smith, but it sure went a long way.

Our pitchers give up 3 earned runs through 8 2/3.....

No free baseball as we were 1/3 short.

Damn....second night in a row guys who haven't givin up a homer all season give up homers.

2nd night in a row we lose a one run game in the bottom of the ninth.

Ellsbury just went down and got the meat of the bat on it in the right place.

Tomorrow seems to be as close to "must win" as it can get on August 4th.

Vt'er- Agree our pitching against the Red Sox was not that bad, we should be at least 2-1 against them.

Now Huff has been sent down to make room for Jiminez. Too bad, he was pitching well.

We still need a bat. If Fukodome cannot get it going at Fenway we cant expect much from him in most Stadiums.

LaPorta should play tonight vs Bedard and he needs to tatoo that LF wall at least twice and knock one over the RF band box.
