Nice knock for the kid Kipnis. A win is a win but man Carmona gave up some load outs we we can't hit. Young bull pen is not up to one run games night after night.....

The end of the week is going to be interesting....

Definitely a BIG win tonight. Especially after they blew the lead, and then the Angels' desperate fielding alignment worked.

He's the Tribes' best hitter, but after the first strike to AC in the ninth, ACta should have called for a bunt.

HBP is about the best offense to expect from Hannahan.

As to Buck and Kearns, a pair of stiffs.

Nice job by Kipnis.

The MLB channel had him on as a guest after the game and asked him what he would tell his kids(when he gets married and has some) about his first hit. Kipnis said, ' that it should have come 5 ABs sooner'.

I went out to walk the dog after the Abreau HR. I took my portable XM radio and listened to the last 1+ inning while enjoying a Montana summer sunset as Tom Hamilton called a winner.

Nice.

Tribe was very lucky that the Angels played At-'em ball with Fausto on the hill.

For the record, the sun is still up here in California.

My wife and I just walked to get a bottle of wine to go with the chicken breast I had pieced and coated for her in garlic and then broiled and coated in Frank's Hot Sauce.

Sounds like it was a nice Montana evening.

Texas leads Minnie, 20-5.

The Cleveland Indians are officially one game out of first as the trade deadline and August approach.

Tribe should find a catcher who can hit RHP, platoon him with Marson and leave Santana to play first base. Too bad Marson is so lame vs LHP. He is light years ahead of Carlos on the defensive side of the game.

As to Carlos, he should stop trying for the Gold record and settle for something in the Top 40.

Acta labeled the Abreu HR 'a little hiccup'.

"I already spent all the time I was going to spend talking about trade talks. I have to win ballgames, and I can't be wasting my time talking about that anymore. I'm not going to give you names. I know what's going on. I already told you how I feel about it. That's good enough for me and should be good enough for you guys, too." -- manager Manny Acta on Monday, tired of talking about the approaching non-waiver Trade Deadline, after saying on Sunday that "a lot of people will be shocked, surprised and be quiet for a long time after they find out every effort that the team put into [acquiring help via trade]."

Manny says he couldn't believe the Tribe(Buck) couldn't hit a ball over the head of an outfielder playing as a fifth infielder.

He said it sort of in a humorous vein, but not totally.

I still like Travis Buck and think with every day playing time he projects to a much higher ceiling than perhaps his stats to date show.

The guy knows how to play ball.

Jhonny Peralta may be in the Top Ten in hitting in the league at the moment, but if chips are down I'd take Travis Buck over Peralta any day of the week.

And O Cab, too.

Wedge shaved his porn mustache and still the Mariners streak continues.

But are they gritty?

Buck is about as reliable as the US dollar.

Bucks' current BA of .239 is his highest since 2007. 4 for his last 28, not exactly taking advantage of his PT.

Also- The OBP for Carlos is nice, but he's on the club to be a run producer, and that means getting more basehits, including a healthy mix of the XBH variety.

Buck will be worth a couple of Franklin's in future games with $$ on the pennant chase line...

8-) Buck is Confederate currency.

How many years back must you go to say this guy has a good track record?
