Only the Indians have fewer wins than the Red Sox since the Allstar Break

A couple of things about The Tribe looking back on 2012 to date....

We beat Michigan.

We hung ten losses on the Tigers and won the season series. We can take some credit that we were a major reason they likely will not make the post season.

If Manny Acta coached football at Ohio State, his wins against "Michigan" might have enhanced his employment tenure.

Another stat that is amazingly one sided in The Tribe's favor is that we are 22-10 in one run games.

The stats above are shared from before our win on the 20th. I updated to the 22 total.

But 22-10 in one run games.

That says something.

I was fixing as you were correcting..... :-)

I wasn't using HTML, I was just trying to do the bold, italics and color all at once and apparently the order of use is important, or something.

Still the 22-10 stat in one run games is amazingly in our favor.

Edit: LOL on the final edit not done by me......!

Still 22-10 is amazing in one run games.

22-10 in one-run games means our record in 2+ run differentials is ATROCIOUS. 40-78.

I guess it means that Chris Perez and the back of the bullpen are the team's strength. Which I think we knew.

Trading Perez might not necessarily be a wise thing.

I think you and I are the only one's that share that thought Civ. We are definitely in the minority.

If I thought for a second that the Indians were able/interested in putting a team together to win I'd say keep Perez.

As things stand, you trade him, along with anything else of value.

If I'm trading Perez, I want top dollar in return.

I have no problem trading him, if our return is well negotiated.

If Shapiranetti are around to do the trade, I say hang onto Perez because I don't trust those two trading a Cracker Jacks "prize."

Dumb luck.

How obvious was THAT after all these years of all the other moves and drafts, post John Hart?

Go ahead and make that "I Love Mark and Chris" your tag here. You really should.

I watched "Moneyball" again late last night.

No one resembling Billy Beane can even be sniffed by this front office.

DeRosa for Perez and Todd.

DeRosa had cost us Chris Archer and John Gaub and Jeff "Brandon Phillips" Stevens. Archer is a budding possible star. The two-trade sequence was good for all sides, or may be in the long run.

You do know that parts of that movie are total BS ? I guess you don't.

Anyway do you agree to only post sober ? If so, I will take the tag.
