Wow if he is that good defensively.
Small sample size! but a great debut. I took a look at Isbel's baserunning stats and he's pretty bad: thrown out 6 of 15 attempts [on Cleveland he would either learn how to steal bases or they would not send him; good coaching is a lot of the reason for our success]
The reports on Bo's defense have been very positive through his minor league career. even after his terrible 2021 at the plate he remained a solid prospect because of his catching skills.
It's his job next year and for as long as he stays healthy. It's unlikely he hits worse than Hedges but defense behind the plate is still the priority.

The two defensive klutzes at it again last night:

Kansas City beat the Guardians, 5-2, in 10 innings at Progressive Field. Drew Waters, following a throwing error by shortstop Gabriel Arias, hit a three-run homer

The Guardians couldn’t take advantage of the break. Waters hit a grounder to Miller at first base as McKenzie came off the mound to cover. Miller seemingly could have made the out himself, but he motioned as if to flip the ball to McKenzie, who wasn’t quite at the bag. Then he tried to make the out himself, but Waters beat him to the bag for a single and a 1-0 lead.

That makes 4 straights games Arias has commtted an error. There is no room for that kind of "talent" on a playoff team's bench
Miller is less likely to commit errors than bonehead plays.

Oh where oh where has Ernie Clement gone?! Too late to recapture him, he's on the A's
But it's not too late to bring back Tyler Freeman; not a super-defender but he doesn't stink either.
