need to rebuild a bullpen. I'd strip it down to Clase and Karinchak and start over. Stephens maybe although some AAA wouldn't hurt.
Kids like Hentges and Mejia and Garza and Perez can stay on the roster and fight for jobs.
Wittgren and Shaw and Young can be disinvited.
Kyle Nelson doesn't need a return invitation. Cam Hill is off my radar too.

1st major league win against us yesterday with nearly perfect 7 innings
29 year old undistinguished vet with shutout ball Tuesday

Today Twins starter has a 7.30 ERA this season. Another shutout ahead of us?

Well Eli got trashed Friday night. He's our Tomlin depth starter next season.

Hentges to the bullpen?

Straw with 3 steals.

The club has been no-hit twice as the Blues, twice as the Naps and 11 times as the Indians. Only the Giants (16), Braves (17) and Phillies and Dodgers (19 each) have been no-hit more than Cleveland. ]No team has ever been no-hit three times in the same season

Till now!!!!!!

It's really 4 counting the 7 inning no-no

Sad

With deference to T.S. Eliot

This is the way the season ends.

Our Hollow Men are "not going out with a bang but a whimper"

Nice. Agree!

That said, if the front office were given truth serum they would say this season went exactly the way they would have liked.

The White Sox are a powerhouse, just like we were in the Central for years.

Cleveland needed a season to sort through their kids. And it is exactly what they got. And they will finish close to .500 just as many of us predicted - even without Bieber and Civale virtually the whole season. And Plesac out for a very long time as well.

This offseason they re-set with committed payroll off the books. And a very cheap and good rotation. They see clearly that they need hitting and they go to it.

One season mulligan. Not endless seasons like KC, Detroit, Chicago and Minnesota did and are still doing in some cases.

One of the most miserable weekends of baseball ever.
Outscored 24-4
Outhit 32-7
But we did successful out-error them 7-2.
14 straight innings without a hit
A catcher who didn't know what the heck he was doing.
A brilliant move bringing in a lefty to face a righty with the bases loaded
etc
etc
etc

Well.....this has been ugly.

I get it that Milwaukee is a powerhouse but wow.

Particularly noteworthy about this team is the lousy defense, which is not something we have had for years.

Rosario is a pretty decent hitter but certainly should not be an everyday SS. Is Giminez much better?

The backup catchers we've been forced to use demonstrate why hitter-first catcher is NOT a priority.

If the priority behind the plate, outweighs
the need of real hitter with ok skills,
do we keep Perez or Austin?

2 games today! get to lose twice in ONE day!

4 innings in the books and we already have A HIT

Harold Ramirez hit the double but compensated for it by making a stupid play in LF, diving for no good reason for ball he could've fielded on a bounce, and let a run score but not charged with an error since I guess they wanted to credit Simmons with an RBI
