What is the magic date when the players can be brought up and the clock doesn't effect Dolans' wallet?

BTW- I would add Brantley to the list of players who can handle the pressure, at least so far.

Obviously the Tribe record would look much better if they had flipped how they arrived at this point. Tough to be nipping interest right when people might start showing up.

The manager wants the players he has right now. Obviously they had already brought up White and Phelps.

A troubling aspect of this swan dive is that the defense has taken a step backwards.

I heard an interview with Masterson after the game last night. He seemed level headed, but some of his attempts at humor sounded like he isn't too thrilled with the support he has gotten the last 6 weeks.

Hard to blame him. Indians are averaging 1.9 runs in his starts since the end of April.

Should get a complete eye check. Losing balls in the sun on cloudy days and swinging at pitches that bounce three feet in front of the plate obviates the need.

We're peeling the layers of our bullpen early. Carmona gone after 5 and 103 pitches. Rafael Perez with 2 outs in the 6th and Joe Smith up and ready in the pen.

Rafael gets 'em 1-2-3 and we go to our 7th looking to pad the lead.
