Wow, so encouraging seeing Logan Allen pitch like this early in the season.

Kudos again to the Tribe for grabbling someone else's prospect pitcher and working with them. Obviously especially pitchers.

John Smoltz just said on MLB Network he views the Tribe as a surprise team because their starters are so good. He stated the obvious that they need to score - if they do that they have good potential.

he'd got us out of a similar mess with a quick throw to 2nd to start a DP and a return to Quantrill covering the bag.

Both teams had chances but relievers kept pulling out of jams.
Watching the replay I was trying to figure how the ball headed off in the strange direction it did; didn;t at first see it bounce off the helmet

Thanks for the explanation, Lou. Always a tough play for the 1st baseman but Chang is still learning the position. The runner is taught to run toward the shortstop's glove and the first baseman may have to step forward or back to get a good throwing line. Maybe next time.

Bieber is ridiculous.

Pointed out in the other folder the Tigers have now pummeled the Astros 2 straight games.

Bottom line our team sure can pitch.

KC beat the Angels last night too. And of course we know how good the Twins are.

So perhaps our view of the Central is becoming outdated.

I will say this, Houston is not what they were. Boston is not what they were. Yankees have crap starters after Cole.

So the traditional view of the AL in totality is now changing.
