Civale was rated our No 15 prospect; Plesac was not among top 30. Neither is likely to be a No. 1 but Clevinger or perhaps Bieber can fill that role. Much happier with these young arms over some of the lousy pitchers who teams pay big money to fill out rotations just because they can stay healthy

Dont forget Carrasco signed an extension.
Clevinger, Carrasco, Bieber, Plesac, Plutko, Civale. .... McKenzie waiting in the wings.
Could afford to trade Bauer and Kluber both once value is there.

Very interesting interview with Plesac before the game started. He had a little hiccup in his delivery and during a bullpen session before his last start Trevor Bauer noticed it. (The pitchers watch each others bullpen sessions and offer tips)
The tip by Bauer really helped him, he was great his last start in Texas.
That is awesome from Bauer, but I have to ask, what is Carl Willis doing?

No kiss of life for Kipnis. He is on a ventilator. You take him off and he’d die. That’s all I’m saying.
And by the way, Perez is 4 out of his last 23 with 9 K. His little hot streak is over. Hope everyone enjoyed those nice couple weeks.
