I'm still trying to figure out why Allen is batting 5th at all, and Naquin behind him?
Oh...and they have 8 runs and counting. Go figure because I can't.

Allen's 6th behind Bauers, but still your point is well taken. Let's assume he used to hit well against Teheran in winter ball or something.

Lindor is back in lead off spot for game 2. ... Martin 2nd and Jose 3rd.
Santana clean up and DH, then CarGo and then Bauers 6th and playing 1st
Naquin, Roberto and Freeman rounding out the lineup, as Kip is sitting this game.

Having Bauer to go this 2nd game shows you the power of having such a good rotation.

Yikes this is like a replay of the first game! Explosion in the bottom of the 2nd this time for 5 runs to make it 7-0.
Key double by Bauers to knock in the last 2. This kid could grow on us.

First glimpse at what our batting order can do now that every one is healthy looks pretty good!

Mercado was 2-4 with 2 doubles this evening for Clippers. (Who play in the #1 rated ballpark in the minors as voted on by the fans)

Oh yeah, so if you add in Kipnis to this lineup it really is shaping up nicely.
I know, I know, I just can't help but wonder if Mercado could come up and be a speed catalyst added to this lineup.

Went to check the box score after the easy sweep of the Braves.........

El Choko Grande
Bauer must be pissed.

Oh my gosh!
I left the game when it was 7-1 going into the 7th cause my wife wanted to watch a movie. I’m just now seeing we lost. Unbelievable!

Similar here: pulled up the box score on my phone and : Wow! I had posted stats a couple days ago on how surprisingly effective the bullpen had been. Especially Cimber. Not quite a repeat yesterday. Olson has been pretty much incapable of retiring anyone so he can leave. But we can I guess chalk this up to just one of those days for Cimber? Apparently Hand cannot pitch as frequently as Cody Allen did; even after two off days, working one inning in the opener made him unavailable in the nightcap. Cody Anderson with no closer experience comes in with the chance to end it and instead gives up game winning runs. That was quite a meltdown

I wondered about using Hand in the opener - why??
I figured maybe he needed the work? That did not turn out well.
