We need Texas to stay hot in their next three hosting Detroit, and we need to do business against Minnie.
It'd be nice to do business in our 8th and 9th today as well.

Chris Perez in to pitch the 9th, since there's not much call for a closer when there's never a lead to hold onto.
Good job by Mitch Talbot, 6 innings, 2 runs.

OCabrera leads off the bottom of the 9th. All he's done today is ground into two DPs and ground out with no one on. Avg sliding through the 240's. If they're interested in shaking things up, we're well stocked with 2nd basemen in Columubs.

Travis Buck hits for OC and fouls to the catcher. At least he got the ball off the ground. Now comes the Heart of the Order.

Our offense has gone into quite a slump. That's baseball. Every team does this at some point during the season. As long as days and even a few weeks doesn't turn into months, we'll be okay.

Santana grounds the ball all the way to the firstbaseman. Tigers leading the Chisox in the 4th.
We finish the 16 game tough part of the schedule 7-9, which looks that impressively so-so only because we won the first 3 game vs. the Reds. 4-9 followed and the offense has gone away, especially the formerly successful small ball. Last 3 wins were by 7-3, 6-3 and 13-9. Last six losses we've scored, 0, 0. 1, 4. 2, 0.
