Sure, go ahead and say it! But please say that the Royals will not do the same. Everyone else in the division is either giving up [Detroit and Chicago] or wearing down [Twins]. What business does KC have staying close?

Bauer is on the hot seat: he seems the most likely guy to go to the pen when the rotation returns to 5 men. He's done well, 1 run in 6 innings, and Tito gave him a real test in the 7th:'
a leadoff single and double by the Great Luis Valbuena
You'd expect a call to the bullpen or two to try to get the three outs, but he stuck with Trevor. Results were perfect:
Cron grounded to 3rd, runners had to hold.
Yunel Escobar pinch hits and whiffs.
Kaleb Cowart grounds out.
Not sure if any of those guys are any good, but stranded the runners took a solid effort.

The odd man out is either Tomlin or Bauer. It's best when the decision is made when both have looked good in their last tryout for 5th spot

Trevor now deserves a run and the bullpen to save it for him.
Guyer somehow avoids getting hit by a pitch, but he does walk.
Perez bunts him over.
Would like to have Chisenhall up but with him on the DL Austin Jackson is the pinch hitter.

He draws the Tribe's 6th walk of the game, Erik G pinch runs and we move to top of the order and Angel-slayer Brad Zimmer to bat. I assume he'll see a lefty?

No, JC Ramirez stays out there. Maybe both managers reached a no-reliever pact today?

And Zimmer Ks.
Leaving it to Lindor. Tribe only has 4 hits off Ramirez in 6 2/3.

As my AtBat App reports: "in play, run"
then adds: Lindor singles on line drive to rf, Guyer scores, Gonzalez to 3rd.

Reliever takes care of Brantley on 3 pitches, but Tribe now up 2-1 after 7.
