During rain delay they showed the replay of the come from behind win against Blue Jays last August with Naquin's walk off inside the park homer. That made the rain delay worth it. I could watch that a hundred times.

Naquin led off game with a home run for Clippers tonight too. He's got to be getting close to be getting back to the conversation with the big club. Just not sure what to do. Zimmer is looking good. He's a lefty hitter. Chiz has been hot, and a lefty. Brantley is Brantley, and a lefty.

One of the CF'ers, Naquin, Zimmer, or Greg Allen, would make a fine piece to a trade offer for a dependable starting pitcher. Or Chiz. Gonzalez & Yandy too. One of our young starters in the upper system, Merryweather, Pannone, Merritt... We could put together an attractive package for a team.

HB: What kind of package do you have that shows rain delays? My Extra Innings package only shows the games when they are live - no pre of post game.

I was watching Sportstime Ohio. Channel 662 on DirecTV.

I just tune into that channel for the games, instead of going to the Extra Inning package channels. You can watch the game on either.

Oh. My cable (spectrum) offers some regional sports packages like NESN and YES, for an extra charge. I guess that's what you have on your DirecTV.

Right. I pay a little extra for what DirecTV calls the "Sports Pack". You get all those regional channels plus Big Ten and SEC channel, ESPN Classic, NBC, CBS, and Fox Sports channels. Some outdoor channels, etc... It isn't very much so well worth it to me.

You can catch Minor League games on some of those regional channels sometimes. Uncle Dennis' Charlotte Knights have been on twice the last week or two.

That is how I got to see Bartolo Colon's no hitter against New Orleans when he was pitching for the Buffalo Bisons many many moons ago.

Bases loaded and no out, no problem. It's Miller Time!

He comes in and gets a force out at the dish and two strikeouts!

Still 3-0!

Jose Ramirez became the first Indians player since Roy Hughes in 1936 to chalk up 9 multi-hit games in a row thanks to his teammates keeping one more plate appearance alive with a barrage of hits in the ninth. He now is behind only Shoeless Joe Jackson who had 11 and 10 consecutive multi-hit games in two different seasons near the beginning of the 20th Century.

Game 4 Preview Cle vs Bal:

https://www.mlb.com/gameday/indians-vs- ... ame=491189

Right-hander Mike Clevinger (2-3, 3.89 ERA) takes the hill for the Indians in the finale of a four-game series against the Orioles and left-hander Wade Miley (3-4, 4.29 ERA) on Thursday night at Camden Yards.

Clevinger, who will be recalled from Triple-A Columbus to make the start, most recently pitched in the second game of the Indians' doubleheader against the Twins on Saturday, allowing two hits and a walk over four innings of one-run ball. Clevinger has split his time in 2017 between the Indians and Columbus.

Miley allowed six runs (five earned) on six hits his last time out, but still earned the win over the Cardinals after being pulled with two outs in the sixth inning. He'll look for a more efficient path to victory against Cleveland.

Things to know about this game

• Miley has made 7.1 percent of his pitches this season in full counts, the second most of any pitcher with 1,000 total pitches. Opponents have a combined .114 batting average against him, but his 27 full-count walks lead the Majors.

• Edwin Encarnacion has had immense success in his career against Miley, hitting two homers and compiling a .500 batting average in 10 at-bats while also drawing seven walks.

• Clevinger has surrendered more than four runs in just one start this season, allowing five runs against the Rockies on June 6.

[ Looks like patience is the key word vs "Wild Thing" Miley ]

Interesting lineup tonight. They have Gonzalez in LF. (lefty pitching and Guyer and Almonte still out)
Image
By the way, I'm really liking Ramirez batting 3rd.

Actually, I would like the lineup with just about any combination of Kipnis/Lindor/Ramirez batting in the top 3, as long as Kipnis is 1st or 2nd.

When Brantley comes back I hope the put him in the 5 hole. Although flipping him and Ramirez isn't that big a deal. Love them both.

Just have to put Santana 6th, or maybe even 7th behind Zimmer if things keep going as they are.
