Michael Brantley was 0-for-2 in Sunday’s afternoon game against the Kansas City Royals, but seeing as there were still five innings to go since his last at-bat, it seemed like he might get another shot at a base hit for the fourth time in his last five games.

Unfortunately, Brantley was removed prior to the fourth inning and replaced by Lonnie Chisenhall, who went into right field so Brandon Guyer could slot into left. The reason why has not been confirmed, but given Brantley’s recent return from a devastating shoulder injury, fans are on edge.

Brantley’s treacherous journey back from a 2015 shoulder injury is well-documented. His return in 2017 in the form of a .289/.348/.485 slash and five home runs, has garnered national attention and put his name in contention for Comeback Player of the Year.

I don't know why they keep putting up with Bauer. He's a total flake. Move him to pen while you shop him and start Clevinger.

Meanwhile, while we won both games it has to be a concern that against lefties the last two days we have scored 1 run in 16 innings. Yost totally screwed up putting the righties in at the end last night. We are lucky to have won the series.

Well, Hillbilly has me on ignore so he won't know how much we are agreeing on the state of the Indians right down to the 1 run in 16 innings against lefties and how lucky we were not to get swept. Thank you Mr. Yost.
