Incredible day for the offense! We were due and it came just at the right time.

I counted this one as a critical game even though it's only 10 games into the season. Losing 6 of 7 games and getting ripped by Detroit the first game of this series could have been a back breaker. Winning in this fashion has to be a huge confidence builder. I'm hoping so much so that the win today propels us to a nice winning streak.

Kept our streak of not losing more than 3 in a row alive.

If it becomes the odd man out, I'd rather it be Tomlin. I like Bauer's pitches. He just needs to cut down on his pitch counts. I think Bauer is an important part of this pitching staff.

Unless there's an injury, there is no "odd man out". Tito's starters are Tito's starters. He lets them figure it out.

Calloway is a super asset to anybody needing help.

Ramirez ignites offense: With two outs in the first inning, Ramirez pulled a four-seamer from Verlander out to right field for a three-run homer to get Cleveland's lineup rolling. Ramirez's second shot of the season had an exit velocity of 103 mph, per Statcast™. The blast set the tone for the offense and helped Ramirez continue a recent hot streak. Across Friday and Saturday's games, Ramirez had six consecutive hits, raising his season average to .341 from .229. Ramirez added a three-run shot off reliever Anibal Sanchez in the eighth. That shot also had an exit velo of 103 mph, and traveled 410 projected feet to left.
"Anything can happen," Ramirez said through team translator Anna Bolton. "There are some days that you're going to have the ability to hit pitches better than other days. Thankfully, they're throwing me pitches that I can dominate well, and I've had good luck in the past couple of days."

Indians: Right-hander Carlos Carrasco (1-0, 2.13 ERA) is scheduled to take the ball for the Tribe against the Tigers on Sunday at Progressive Field. It will mark Carrasco's first outing against Detroit since Sept. 17 last year, when an Ian Kinsler line drive fractured the pitcher's right hand, ending his season.

Todays lineup against a lefty. They leave Brantley in at 3rd and drop Guyer. I like it, except I'd probably drop Guyer down to 8. He's been slumping lately after a hot spring.

I'd like it better if they bench or drop Encarnacion in the lineup. Drop him to 9 and insert Diaz in EE's slot. I'd feel much more confident with EE at the bottom of the lineup or on the bench.

EE's been a one man rally killer.

Doesn't look like we can drop Gomes any further in the lineup. Well! Maybe Columbus??

Who made the remark back in that Texas series that there are no weak links in the lineup If we're going to be effective, we have to find out what to do with EE and the bottom third of the lineup.

The return of Jason Kipnis should help a little.

We're at a point right now where we can't allow any more runs.

I'd like to see EE do something good this next at bat. We need base runners......badly!
