Lefties Hagadone and Crockett did their jobs today in the 7th and 8th, but in between Lee allowed the 3rd run on three hits. We're down 3-1 with an inning to go.

Schoop homers off Crockett (2nd allowed in the majors by Kyle) and it's 4-1. 1st run he allowed since June 24. Can't quite complain about that work product.

You've seen a good game, BARON.
Nice to see the Tribe come back from that terrible start.

Oh yeah it was great, once he started mowing them down, after the 1st I think he set down 14 straight till he walked....can't remember who. I did get nervous at the bottom of the 7th though.

Got some nice pics of Target field, it really is a nice park. I haven't been to a big league game since game 4 of the 2001 ALDS against Seattle. Went to Winterhaven once or twice though, and a couple Sounds games. I'll post some pics if I can get them to upload.

Tito overmanages like mad, but he has the bullpen talent for it to work.

I really didn't see the rush to remove Bauer who was on quite a roll after that minor blip against the first five hitters.

Seems like almost the entire pen was used, although some just for a batter or two.

He still had Tomlin to work the extra innings, as many as were needed. I believe everyone else had been used:

RH: Allen, Shaw, Atchison, Lee
LH: Repczynski, Crockett, Hagadone

Major league baseball talks about wanting to shorten games. It will be touch if teams maintain 8 man bullpens.

Best move made to secure last night's game was trading away Axford last week.

One thing they could do is to lower the number of pitches relief pitchers make from the mound.

But I think the biggest improvement would be to force the batters to STAY IN THE BOX instead of stepping out and going through a routine EVERY pitch.

Just heard Swisher is done for the season, between those two things happening our odds for a wild card increased

Do they ever say why? That is, can they bring themselves to be honest about it?
