We certainly have a much more interesting team this year. It's feast or famine so far for the hitters, and they haven't yet shown much ability to bounce back when they get behind. But all those power hitters make lots of runs possible at any time. 3 good starts in a row, too, but who knows what to expect from the pitching.

I sure would like to see Bauer pitch well tonight and give us hope for the starters.

I know we can score, but can we outscore.

Indians lead 4-0 already. Smacking some dude named Cliff Lee around.....

Bauer walks the first two hitters in the 5th, that brings his total to 6 vs 5 strikeouts and 1 hit allowed. He's up to 87 pitches; if he can get two more out without trouble, he can turn it over to the bullpen to hold a 4 run lead for 4 innings.

Two out now for the Phillies after Michael Young fly moves runner to 3rd. Chase Utley, who's walked twice, bats with Ryan Howard on deck.

Utley flies out, Bauer leads 4-0 with 5 innings of work and 93 pitches.

Too bad Hagadone's not on the team. Smith-Pestano-Perez will get innings 7,8 and 9. Maybe Hill will work the 6th at least to start against Howard.

6 walks, 5 Ks for Bauer. No runs surrendered. Not bad!

what do you guys think about the Indians playing the rest of the season against prior year cy young winners? Their record has to be quite astonishing.
