If you can open this link it's a very good 30 minute discussion between a couple Baseball America writers on the Guardians' prospects
https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories ... deep-dive/
They love the system and note that for example 2024 high school draftee Braylon Doughty who they rank No. 12 is every bit as good as a high school draftee by the Royals who they rank No. 5 in that system.
They speculate on the possibility of Wilkinson making progress at higher levels and note that many scouts think he might be successful
They are big fans of Chourio who they project at worst as a high OBP speedy solid defensive CF who might just add power and turn into a super prospect like his brother
They don't seem as concerned about DeLauter's weird swing but are not yet convinced his health will keep him on the field.

Re: Minor Matters
13443The Guardians are again hosting a "depth camp" for the unofficial invitees. I found the list yesterday but can't today.
It includes the one and only player on the Columbus roster who's not a true invitee: Nick Mickoljachak, who was close to making the club a spring or two ago.
And then the predictable: Bazzana, Chourio, Genoa, Cozart, and most of the rest of the AA and some Lake County rosters. These guys will be nearby and available to get a few innings in spring training games.

Re: Minor Matters
13445MIssing are much better pitching prospects Parker Messick and Austin Peterson who had excellent 2024s in Lake County and at least as well after promotion to Akron.
