After spending the first month of the season in Arizona to continue his rehab, Karinchak joined the Guardians on Thursday and is expected to travel with the team to Atlanta and Houston to work with the big league training staff as he nears a rehab assignment.
April 21: RHP Gavin Williams scheduled to receive an anti-inflammatory injection in right elbow
After feeling discomfort in his right elbow again, Williams was scheduled to receive an injection on Wednesday. He'll be shut down for seven days, and the team is hoping he'll be able to pick up where he left off shortly after that.

Williams made his three-inning start in Arizona to begin his rehab process, but he felt the same discomfort in his elbow after the outing that he did in Spring Training. He flew to Cleveland to meet with the medical staff and received external opinions. It was determined that receiving an anti-inflammatory injection on April 24 would be the best path forward. He'll be shut down for seven days with the hope that he will immediately be able to resume his throwing program without being set back too much.

Expected return: Late April
Hentges was shut down for a few days in the middle of March to deal with swelling in his left middle finger. Before camp ended, he said he had resumed throwing, but there wasn't enough time left for him to be ready to go before Opening Day.
He began his rehab assignment on April 19 with Double-A Akron, tossing one scoreless inning with one strikeout on 14 pitches. He'll make his next appearance on April 23 in Akron. (Last updated: April 21)

Morgan was placed on the 15-day IL on April 17 due to right shoulder inflammation. He pitched in nine games, posting a 2.16 ERA over 8 1/3 innings, including two shutout innings in the Guardians’ 10-7, 11-inning victory on April 16. When Stephan's elbow was examined for discomfort on Feb. 28, a deep bone bruise was discovered. But after it continued to nag him, other opinions were needed. Tyler Beede has been a great clubhouse presence and the runs allowed yesterday were partly due to erratic defense but his 8+ ERA speaks for itself

Not exactly a story book debut to his major league career. Manzardo looked over-matched, at least on this day.
On another note, Johnathan Rodriguez's season-opening 24-game on-base streak ended a week ago. He's got another streak going. Six in a row. What's a guy gotta do to earn a promotion?
Not exactly a fan of Laureano.
Florial is not exactly embarrassing himself. He's getting closer to becoming a threat.
Johnathan Rodriquez a threat from the other side?
Food for Thought: Florial, Manzardo, Rodriguez at the bottom?
Could Jaison be better than Jackson?
My personal favs, Rocchio and Frias are struggling. Both not letting their offensive woes interfere with their defense.
Will Josie's bat flip hep relieve the frustration?
It's a Miracle: Winning with 9 of 13 starters hitting below .250; Six hitting .213 or less.
The glass is half full: It can't get any worse. Good day's are ahead? Look for more offensive production from the bottom.

13798I expect the White Sox will improve soon. They were moving a lot of parts around. They found some pretty good pitchers. Never heard of any of them. Likewise with the position players. Who are those guys? The Sox also found a couple of pretty decent bats. Top 3 guys still on the DL.Sox are slowwwwly becoming competitive..
