I hope the DFW area chick is working out for you,

I once met a girl on a plane who I later went to many Rangers games with in the old ballpark. She'd want nachos covered in cheese and jalapenos. Despite her dietary choices, I'd still wrestle with her on her living room floor in Arlington TX after the games as I unfortunately acquiesced to her wish to watch
American Gladiators.
I usually won, at least twice. On most of our post game interactions.
She sold medical devices in a territory west of Dallas proper, and her Father was President of a Texas based Western Boot company.
10 years later I was at what would be termed a "networking function" in Portland, Oregon and very unexpectedly saw her again. And her, me.
I was with a guy I had hired for our little company to manage our IPO company hopeful branch in Portland when I was based in Florida.
She and I looked at each other and exchanged awkward interchanges trying to figure out how we might possibly know each other. At first I was clueless, and she was too.
During conversations, it all came back to Texas Rangers and American Gladiators. And then we once more connected.
And both mutually said "damn!" "Over a thousand miles away, and ten years later."
She was still cute as a button, but that was a year I was married.
The guy I had hired said, "damn, I think you two connected." "Right?"
My loving and cute 2nd wife trumps the Dallas area chick in all ways important to me.
But......memories are fun.
