I think the Guardians' outfielders should ask the MLBPA to demand all fans be barred from Yankee stadium beyond the fence seating. This is common behavior and there is no reason to put players at risk.
I am sure the NY management will respond very responsively with a hardfelt annoucement at the start of the game that "it is inappropriate to throw objects onto the field and that those who do so may be removed". That will probably be received with laughter and boos

Disasterous today. Civale doesn't have it so far this season. Announcer Andre Knott said Civale had mentioned not feeling strong enough and not knowing why.

As for the rest of the game - obviously it's always a tall order for a 3 game series in NY. Really 1 out of 3 is a good result.

So to lose that 2nd game was a killer. Great comeback only to have your stud closer piss it away.

Kirk McCarty got his chance to tell his grandcihldren he pitched in Yankee Stadium. Everthing else was a disaster.

At least Gimenez is continuing to show promise with the bat.
