HB - the third was his best inning, and after 58 pitches (!) probably he is done.
I assume you were watching a bit....and I completely agree after watching the 3 innings this is early Danny Salazar - definitely not the Salazar we remember. At least yet. Going to take some time.
At least it seems he is still healthy.

I have been bouncing back & forth between Akron and Columbus. Been watching mostly Columbus though cause I’ve always been an Eli Morgan fan. He finally got touched up in 5th.
surprised they got in all 9 innings in the big league game. Tigers made it very easy, letting our 3 mid-quality relievers get through 6 1-hit 0-walk innings on 71 pitches. And nice of them to use a starter pitcher with a career ERA of 8.57. At least he looks like a pitcher: 6-5 230. Unlike fellow Gonzaga grad Morgan who's 5-10 190 but may be a much better pitcher
scoreless in the bottom of the 3rd but it shouldn't stay that way. 3 on, none out for Mercado. Freeman, hitting a shocking 293, and Naquin, now 289, singled and Lindor walked to fill the bases.
And Mercado keeps up his top notch week with a two run single. Ballgame.
