I've been posting signings as they've come in, Civ. And I'm pretty sure we have yet to sign Rivera. Don't remember it any way.

I'm sorry, I just noticed I made a brain fart in my run down from last night. Castro had a double, triple, and homer. I typed single instead of triple. But then went on to say if he had a single he'd had a cycle. Very confusing. Duh.

The Tribe plays early today and so does the Rubber Ducks. They have a noon start too. No Mejia in the lineup having catched last night, but Bradley is in there. Papi and co. Esparza pitching. He has been on quite a roll. Only allowed 11 earned runs his last 7 starts.

But seems like all our pitching prospects and suspects, well, most, (ahem, BradyAiken, ahem) have been doing great lately.

I've been quite critical of the Indians organization for some things, such as piss poor drafting. But I gotta say, they kick ass when it comes to developing pitchers.

Matter of fact, I was listening to a podcast a week or two ago on our minor leaguers and they had a guest on, a national minor league baseball writer, and he said the Indians organization is widely respected for their pitching development.

Esparza over last 7 starts ... 5-0 ... 45.2 IP ... 30 H ... 11 ER ... 9 BB ... 37 K.

Last year's rosters show just why fans should get excited for this game each and every year. Alex Bregman, Dansby Swanson, Andrew Benintendi and Hunter Renfroe all were on the United States roster while Gary Sanchez, Manuel Margot and Raimel Tapia were all on the World squad. All are making big league contributions now.
