No major league games I'm interested in tonight but CSN is broadcasting the Charlotte Knight vs Norfolk Tide at 6. I really like Yoan Moncada. Always interesting to watch him play.

Come on to Charlotte joez! I am a season ticket holder, right behind home plate, not too different from the home plate seats we had way back when at the reunion Akron Aeros game in Akron. That was the game that had VMart with the Aeros, and you were describing hitting the "V" into the gaps.

Hello Dennis! How do you like Moncada? Does he remind you of Lindor?

First and third with one out. Chisenhall and Almonte looked like minor leaguers on the two strikeouts flailing away at pitches way out of the strike zone. We fail again with a runner on third and less than two outs. Francona has to make changes in the top of this lineup.

Santana is not getting the job done leading off and Encarnacion continues to be under whelming. 7,8, and 9 continue to struggle.

Salazar continues to be a thrower and not a pitcher. 48 pitches and we just finished the second inning. Salazar needs a couple of 10-12 pitch innings.

Santana is 8-40 (.200) when leading off an inning. It might help to cut down on that home run cut and just try to get on base. He's got a couple of good hitters behind him.

Encarnacion is 3-23 (.130) with runners in scoring position. It might help to cut down on that home run cut. It ain't working. A base hit might help.

Kipnis just misses one off the wall in right for a double.

Chisenhall fans on another ball in the dirt. Kipnis stranded at second. But EE's homer gives us the lead 1-0.

Salazar seems to pile up the pitches in his first three innings and then seems to settle in. I wonder if he needs more pitches during his warm up time.

6-4-3 dp eases the pressure. Runner on third and two out.
