LOL, the CRACK medical staff strikes again. So much for the plan to do it right so that this wouldn't happen:

Michael Brantley - OF - Indians

Indians placed OF Michael Brantley on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 10, with right shoulder fatigue.

Brantley had missed three games due to lingering fatigue in the surgically-repaired shoulder, and the Indians finally decided they couldn't wait any longer. The stint may be a good thing for the 28-year-old, who was hitting just .231 with a .561 OPS since coming back in late April. The team should shed some more light on a potential timeline shortly.

Carlos Carrasco (hamstring) threw off a mound on Friday.

It's the first time he's done so since suffering a strained hamstring nearly three weeks ago. Carrasco will throw off a mound again Monday and then could be ready for a simulated game. The right-hander is on track to return in late May or early June.

I guess that's what happens when you are desperate for offense.

After watching todays game I think the Tribe has problems against relatively soft throwing lefties AND soft throwing righties. We usually hit hard throwing lefties (Sale) well enough but the tossers have us in a funk pretty much. They need to work on that in BP, have junk pitchers from both sides throw it.

Crockett is toast.

Austin Adams - R - Indians

Indians recalled RHP Austin Adams from Triple-A Columbus.

Adams holds a 1.10 ERA and 18/5 K/BB ratio across 16 1/3 frames this season for Columbus. He'll be used in middle relief.

I am tired of Chisenhall. Just look at pitch location he swings at. They are mostly balls some actually in the dirt. Then he takes called strikes. He may need glasses. I think they should try some exercises with him, let him call out if a pitch is a ball or a strike without swinging in practice. He might learn from that. At the present rate for the season he would be an outfielder with no home runs and 16 runs batted in. Just awful!
