Didn't expect Walters to hang around now that Aviles is backing to being supersub.

Crockett was great at all levels last year and seems to be back in the groove. Our LH relief has been pretty bad.
Manship is likely better than Atchison, as are most pitchers.

One of these guys will go away again in time for someone to start 4 days from now [or later if there are any off-days ahead]. House is not available-- he's on the Clippers' DL. Chacin has just been released. They could try Michael Roth who has been pitching well, but is another soft tossing lefty. Cody Anderson is on the 40 man roster and has pitched very well but only has had a handful of starts in AAA.

The 30-year-old Manship -- who was signed to a Minor League contract in December -- turned in a 1.99 ERA with 31 strikeouts, nine walks and a .219 opponents's average in 31 2/3 innings with Columbus this season. Manship has previous big league experience with the Twins (2009-12), Rockies ('13) and Phillies ('14).

Crockett, 23, began this season in Cleveland's Opening Day bullpen and also posted a 1.80 ERA in 43 games with the Tribe last year. Since being optioned to Triple-A on April 11, the lefty has turned in a 5.91 ERA in 21 appearances. Crockett posted a 2.25 ERA after May 1 for the Clippers.

Sort of rushing it on Anderson but he has looked very good this year and unlike the rest of our No. 5 starter candidates he is a hard thrower. Good luck Cody.

Anderson along with Cody Allen and Scott Armstrong were mid-round draftees we the Indians aggressively went over paying over slot in the 2011 draft. Could turn out to be a very positive draft year for the Tribe.
