On another note....I did not know that Sports Illustrated was regional...as in with their covers.

Back when the Spring Training issue came out....I guess around Cleveland the cover was the Tribe...here in TN I think mine was the Rangers for some reason...I dismissed it at the time....but then I just received this weeks which I saw on the net was supposed to be the Cavs on the cover, but I have the Warriors instead.

So what impact does this have on "The Curse" are they cursing more than one team/person?

Hillbilly wrote:How remarkable is our ole buddy, Bartolo Colon. Won again today. 7.1 innings, 9 K, 1 run.

He became the first player in major league history to beat a team (Orioles) with 7 different teams. (Indians, ChiSox, Angels, BoSox, Yanks, A's and now Mets)
Wonder how his buddy Pancho the donkey is doing these days. Of course Bartolo was a FOM and as we never needed Manny we dont need Bart either. Just went to that wonderful source Wikapedia to read up about Enrique Wilson and Julian Taverez. I guess the tribe has won a few games. It would be nice to follow them again as we wait for the Finals.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Do you have a question that you'd like to have answered in Hey, Hoynsie? Submit it here,

Hey, Hoynsie: It's obvious that Jose Ramirez is lost and overmatched at the plate. I think to keep him in the big leagues at this time is bad for him and the Indians. I'm not saying he doesn't have potential and I'm not saying promote Francisco Lindor, I'm just saying something needs to change. The brain trust needs to figure it out. – John Eckhardt, Rochester, N.Y.

Hey, John: I couldn't agree more.

The trouble is Lindor is playing only so-so at Columbus and manager Terry Francona cannot split Mikes Aviles in half. He's been subbing Aviles at short for Ramirez and at third for Lonnie Chisenhall, who is struggling just as bad as Ramirez. They need a solution and they need it fast.

Zach Walters might offer some relief if the Tribe promotes him, but he hasn't played a lot of shortstop at Columbus because Lindor is getting all the reps.

As manager Terry Francona said on Thursday, "We have a little bit of a dilemma."

The one thing about Ramirez is that almost once a game he does something to help the Tribe. But it's the time in between those positive contributions that's hard to watch.

Let me add here that Chisenhall is actually the worse issue.

Look, you could live with Ramirez or Lindor's bat at SS, if the 3B wasn't such a black hole in the lineup! 3B are supposed to hit.

Thank goodness for the starting pitching, because this lineup has too many holes. On days Swisher plays he has been the 3rd black hole.

At least Bourn is looking better.
