Re: GameTime!™
9707Chris Perez gets the save, as the front office was probably hoping he would blow it for their self preservation purposes.

I'm hoping and believing that neither Mark Shapiro nor Chris Antonneti will be around to decide anything about trades to prep for our 2013 season.

9713And "The Twins Draw Closer to 'the Guys from Cleveland' in the Basement Battle."
Sounds like a really bad porn flick.
In reality, this 2012 Cleveland Indians Season was brought to you courtesy and with big payments to Mark Shapiro and Chris Antonetti.

9714Underway in Minneapolis. Canzler is trying his luck in LF today. IF of Santana, Kipnis, Lillibridge and Donald. Marson behind the plate. Asdrubal the DH.
The rest of the way I would play Canzler almost every day. Although I don't think much of him I would use LaPorta at least 1/2 the time to give him a final Tribe trial. I would put Neal in the lineup 1/2 the time. He has been allowed 4 ab in his first week with Cleveland. Aeros could use him in the playoffs if the Indians don't want to bother playing him. I would thank Kotchman kindly for his great defensive skills and send him to the instructional league to use those great soft hands to try his luck at shortstop, or just send him home. I would use Vinnie Rottino as bullpen catcher. I don't care if they Cord Phelps or not, since he's here, but since he can only 2nd and Kipnis offers more I see no reason to expect Phelps to ever be with the Tribe during 25-man-roster periods. In fact I would by happier if brought up Juan Diaz and give him work in the infield, since his SS skills are of more value.

9716Choo SAC fly makes it 2-0 Indians, then Jason Donald scores on wild pitch to make it 3-0

Unless are watching 2 games at once, you must share my preference for baseball over football enough to watch a battle for last place instead of the season debut of another last place team.

9719CIV: Actually, I'm watching the Browns now, and following the Indians online. I was watching the Reds game awhile ago, too.
