Re: GameTime!™

I am more disappointed in Bibee than I am in Vogt for the 4 out outing. His command was iffy at best and he wasn't missing barrels (5 hits and a walk in 1.1 innings). We are where we are because of our bullpen...if we win and/or advance it will be in large part due to our bullpen. When we are down 1...

Re: GameTime!™

I agree Rusty with trading J Naylor this offseason. I know his numbers look solid, but man he has not been good. I can't believe no one mentions how bad he is defensively. I don't think he's scooped an infielders throw all season. Offensively, he swings at every pitch and pitchers know it. He is not...

On Zimmer...The general feeing is it takes 2000 major league at bats to truly judge a players hitting ability. Zimmer is at right around 600, which equals one full season. I too have written him off but see the potential starting to show. I'd definitely keep him. It seems to me that Francona isnt a ...

Re: General Discussion

Haha. Amazing that UCLA, Arizona (entire organization) and the Indians all had terrible clubhouses for the easy to get along with Trevor Bauer. Even more amazing is that he loved Cincy where they have hired the entire Driveline pitching staff so he could get his way and plus he was an impending free...

Don't remember seeing it discussed on here, but the front office seems to have escaped criticism on letting Jesus Aguilar go..for nothing. His right handed power and his .350 OBP is exactly what this lineup needed. Not to mention his $500,000 salary for the next few years.

Re: Minor Matters

Civ, I was on team with Kenny Lofton in Auburn, New York and I thought he was horrible. He was rookie and coming off his basketball run. He dropped two routine fly balls that were crucial in those particular games. half his hits were cheap infield hits. They loved his speed and the staff worked hard...

Re: GameTime!™

Great point Hillbilly. I cannot recall a major leaguer who couldn't hit a fastball. There have been millions of great fastball hitters that couldn't hit off speed stuff and it forced them out of the game. While learning to hit off speed pitches can be impossible, I assume learning to hit a fastball ...

Re: Articles

"Skill level diminished?" Thats interesting?? He has 3 out pitches. Two of them dominant. He gave up 6 baserunners in 4 innings! He doesn't walk people, which is very common in young power pitchers. He has great mound presence! He has great mechanics! IMO he is miles ahead of Jaret Wright ...
